At Scoop the Moo, we strive to ensure your order arrives quickly and safely. Please review our shipping guidelines below.
Domestic Shipping

We reserve the right to modify your shipping method if necessary due to packaging requirements, combined orders, or other business considerations.Returned Packages
If a package is returned because of an incorrect address provided by the customer:
- We will re-ship the order to the correct address.
- The customer is responsible for the full cost of the new shipment—even if the original order qualified for free shipping

Shipping Protection
By default, Scoop The Moo is not liable for packages once they have been transferred to the shipping carrier.
Customers may choose to add Shipping Protection at checkout. When selected, Scoop The Moo will insure your package for its full value at the time the shipping label is created.
If a shipment issue occurs and the carrier approves the claim, Scoop The Moo will issue a refund for the insured value of the package.
Requirements for Coverage
To be eligible for a claim:
- Shipping Protection must be added at the time of purchase.
- All loss or damage claims must be reported directly to Scoop The Moo.
- Scoop The Moo will submit the claim to the carrier on the customer’s behalf.
- The carrier may investigate the claim and may contact the customer for additional information.
- Failure to cooperate may result in denial of the claim.
- If the carrier accepts responsibility, a refund will be issued accordingly.
Important Notes
Some carriers allow customers to modify delivery preferences (such as “leave at my door” or other no-signature options).
These selections may release the carrier from liability. In such cases, Shipping Protection will be void, as the carrier is no longer responsible for the delivery.

Lost or Stolen Packages
.We truly want every order to arrive safely, and we’re here to help however we can. Once your package leaves our hands and is accepted by the shipping carrier, it becomes their responsibility to handle delivery. Scoop the Moo is not responsible for any loss due to theft of any packages.
📦 If Your Order Says “Delivered” but You Don’t See It
Sometimes carriers mark a package as delivered a little early or leave it somewhere unexpected. If this happens:
- Check near all doors, mailbox areas, porch/garage, or with neighbors
- Look for a delivery notice or photo (if the carrier provides one)
- Allow up to 24 hours—packages can show “delivered” before they arrive
If it still doesn’t appear, the carrier is the best resource to locate it.
Since the carrier has marked the package as delivered, we are not able to replace or refund it, but we’re always happy to guide you through the next steps as much as we can.🚚 If Your Package Seems Stuck or Lost in Transit
If tracking hasn’t updated for several days, it may still be on the way. Carriers often experience delays or missed scans.
If it appears truly lost, customers will need to file a claim with the carrier. They are the only party able to investigate and reimburse for lost shipments.We cannot issue refunds or replacements for packages lost in transit, but we’ll gladly help you with information needed to file a claim.
📮 How to File a Claim
You can contact your carrier directly using your tracking number:
- USPS – Lost/Missing Mail Claim
- UPS – Lost Package Claim
- FedEx – Missing Shipment Claim
They will walk you through the process and provide updates.
If you opted for shipping insurance, please contact us at liz@scoopthemoo to file the claim on your behalf. Claim times will vary and may take several weeks for the carrier to resolve/investigate the issue.
🏠 Address Issues
Please double-check your address at checkout. We cannot replace or refund orders shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at the time of purchase.
If you are not able to be home at the expected date of delivery, you may want to try and alter the delivery conditions to either hold at carrier for pickup, or reschedule the delivery of your package(s).
International Shipping
We do not offer international shipping at this time.
If an order is placed with an international address, Scoop the Moo reserves the right to cancel the order and notify the customer.
